This groundbreaking new performance by internationally acclaimed dance troupe Pilobolus is best described as part shadow act, part dance, part circus and part concert.
The first theatrical event of its kind to tour the globe, Shadowland incorporates multiple moving screens of different sizes and shapes in an evening-long performance that merges projected images and front-of-screen choreography.
Shadowland is a surreal exploration of a young girl's strange and beautiful world as she comes of age. Both intensely dramatic and very funny, it's an intimately enacted portrayal of a universal experience.
It's blessed with an original score by film composer David Poe, whose poetic work lends depth to ballads and hard driving rock numbers that vividly illuminate the themes and visuals of this fascinating story.
