Following their highly successful debut seasonand dates at the Royal Opera House, the country’s most dynamic, risk-taking company, New English Ballet Theatre, returns with an innovative collaboration between visual art, music and dance. This varied and compelling programme showcases the stars of the futurein 5 world premieres from the UK’s hottest choreographic talent. On a journey through the contemporary and traditional, Tryst: Devotion and Betrayal presents Orbital Moon, choreographed by The Royal Ballet’s Valentino Zucchetti, with music by Philip Glass and includes new work from The Royal Ballet’s Kristen McNally and the former Dutch National Ballet dancer Daniela Cardim Fonteyne’s Tangents. The evening includes a newly commissioned work by rising star Andrew McNicol, based on Tolstoy’s novella The Kreutzer Sonata. Also featuring exquisite design from Emma Bailey, NEBT offers a multi-faceted programme bursting with emerging talent.
