Stars of their own hit TV show back home, Australia's favourite skinny man and purple puppet, Sammy J and Randy are hitting the road armed with nothing but a keyboard and a suitcase of songs. Plus undies. Plus toothpaste. Plus assortment of international power adaptors. But mostly songs.
Sammy J and Randy are two of the most sought after comics in Australia today. Combining catchy sings with chaotic tomfoolery and outburst of filth , these adorable characters have an uncanny knack of charming the pants off everyone they met.
In 20015 the duo racked up accolades around the world from being handpicked to star in Neil Patrick Harris’ Just For Laughs TV Gala in Montreal, to performing at the Sydney Opera House to having their Live Comedy special Sammy J and Randy: Live nominated for an aria for best comedy release.
They also managed to find time to write and perform in their debut TV sitcom, Sammy J and Randy in Rickett’s Lane, nominated for best comedy in the 2015 AACTA Awards, along with a best comedy performance for Randy. It was announced recently the program was picked up by NBC Universal in the US.
